Leonel Linares Arts Foundation is a nonprofit organization, a creative collaboration space for future artists and provides communities with cultural knowledge, awareness and sensitivity. We promote diverse and unique education outreach and research programs in performance and visual arts offering an alternative approach for cultural and sustainable human development. Creating and promoting events that promote and show essential and inclusive topics facing the contemporary society, for all audience without regardless.

leonel linares
Leonel Linares is a dancer, choreographer and arts educator, based in NY.
Leonel currently performs with Accent Dance, East Coast Contemporary Ballet and FJK. He is a certified teacher in Vaganova technique from Bolshoi Academy of Moscow. Leonel Linares previously served as the Choreographer in Residency and Ballet Master at the Staten Island Ballet for seven years. Additionally, he is one of the founders of La Casa de la Cultura Venezolana en NY. His professional career in Venezuela included work with Ballet Nuevo Mundo de Caracas under the direction of Zhandra Rodriguez, Ballet Nacional de Caracas Teresa Carreno, Compañía Danza Actual.

Maui has a Master's in Sociocultural Management, multimedia choreographer, curator, and producer of festivals, events, and exhibitions. Her artworks and choreographies have been presented in Venezuela, Panama, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Peru, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Argentine, Russia and United States. She won the First-Class Merit Order for Work in Dance (2009).
